Eristoff is a vodka brand owned by Bacardi. It is a grain vodka that is distilled three times and then filtered over charcoal. This filtration removes the last rough edges, leaving a clear, neutral vodka. Regular Eristoff is 37.5% ABV, the legal minimum for vodka in Europe. You can recognize the bottle by the wolf on the label.
Alongside its clear vodka, Eristoff makes several colored variants: Red with raspberry and sloe, Pink with strawberry, and Passion with passion fruit. They contain 18% alcohol. That is too little for them to legally be called vodka; they are actually vodka liqueurs. They are sweet and fruity, intended for shots, mixed drinks and easy cocktails. If you want a vodka for a classic cocktail, choose the clear Eristoff.
