Lillet Rosé
The pink Lillet is why half the Netherlands holds a large wine glass with tonic and strawberries in summer. Light, fruity and fresh: berries, orange blossom and grapefruit, at 17%.

Lillet's summer color
Lillet Rosé is the youngest of the three colors and was launched in 2011. Whereas Blanc is based on white Bordeaux wine, Rosé combines red and white Bordeaux wines, complemented by fruit infusions and plant extracts. The idea is the same as with the original from 1872: wine as a base, citrus and a slight bitterness for freshness.
In the glass, it is lighter and fruitier than its siblings. You smell berries, orange blossom and grapefruit, and the taste stays fresh and juicy. That's why this is the Lillet for a spritz: with tonic and summer fruit, or with a splash of sparkling wine. It also works straight and ice-cold as a light aperitif before a meal.
In brief
Red fruit with a fresh grapefruit edge
Berries and blossom
Light aromas of red berries and orange blossom, with a fresh citrus note of grapefruit running through them.
Juicy and light
Fruity and gently sweet, with the wine in the background. Lighter and less honeyed than Lillet Blanc.
Fresh bitterness
A short, fresh finish in which grapefruit leaves a gentle bitterness. Invites the next sip.
Lillet Rosé's flavor profile straight and chilled. With tonic, it becomes drier and the grapefruit comes forward more.
Three ways to serve Lillet Rosé
Rosé calls for cold, ice and fruit. With tonic, with bubbles or straight from the fridge.
Lillet Spritz
50 ml Lillet Rosé and 100 ml tonic in a large wine glass filled with ice, with a few halved strawberries and a mint leaf. The best-known way to drink it.
Glass: large wine glass →With sparkling wine
30 ml chilled Lillet Rosé in a coupe, topped up with 90 ml dry sparkling wine. More festive than the spritz, with the red fruit shining through the bubbles.
Coupes →Straight over ice
60 ml Lillet Rosé from the fridge over a few ice cubes, with a wedge of grapefruit. A light aperitif to serve alongside a plate of olives.
Tumblers →Spritz and bubbles with Lillet Rosé
Rosé was made for light, sparkling drinks. It replaces Aperol or cassis without making the cocktail heavy.

Lillet Spritz
The spritz recipe, but with Lillet Rosé and tonic instead of Aperol and prosecco. Lighter and fruitier.
Hugo Spritz
Elderflower, mint, lime and bubbles. Adding a splash of Lillet Rosé gives it a rosy blush.
Kir Royal
Classic cassis with champagne. Replacing cassis with Lillet Rosé makes it drier and fresher.
