Grand Marnier Cuvée du Centenaire
Grand Marnier's celebratory bottle. Created in 1927 for the centenary of the Marnier Lapostolle house, with XO cognacs up to 25 years old: rich, smooth and full of candied orange and old cognac.

One hundred years of Marnier Lapostolle in a bottle
The Cuvée du Centenaire was created in 1927 to celebrate the centenary of the Marnier Lapostolle house. While the Cordon Rouge consists of approximately half cognac, this is 82% XO cognac, complemented by 18% bitter orange liqueur. The XO cognacs used are up to 25 years old: aged longer, and therefore richer and rounder.
As with the other Grand Marnier expressions, the blend is aged for another six to eight months in large oak casks after the orange distillate is added. The alcohol content is the same as the rest of the range: 40%. Compared with the Louis Alexandre, which has the same proportion of cognac but uses VSOP, the Centenaire is deeper and more complex. A bottle to serve neat, for a moment that matters.

Tasting profile of Grand Marnier Cuvée du Centenaire neat, at room temperature. Let it stand for a few minutes after pouring.
How to pour Centenaire
You don't drink this bottle in a cocktail. Treat it like a fine XO cognac.
Neat at room temperature
2 to 3 cl in a cognac glass. Let it stand for a few minutes so the aroma opens up, warm the glass in your hand and sip slowly.
Glass: cognac glass →Alongside coffee
Pour a small glass alongside an espresso after dinner. The bitter coffee and orange enhance each other; not in the coffee, but alongside it.
Coffee cocktails →With dark chocolate
A small glass alongside a piece of dark chocolate with a high cocoa percentage. Taste them alternately: the chocolate makes the orange fresher and the cognac smoother.
Cognac glasses →If you do want to mix it
Centenaire is made to be enjoyed neat. If you want a drink as a tribute, choose a classic with few ingredients.

Champagne cocktail
A sugar cube with bitters, a splash of Centenaire and champagne. Luxury for an anniversary.
Brandy Alexander
Cognac, chocolate liqueur and cream. A splash of Centenaire adds orange notes.
Carajillo
Espresso with liqueur over ice. With Centenaire instead of Licor 43, it becomes a coffee with orange and cognac.
Sidecar
Cognac, orange liqueur and lemon. The most luxurious Sidecar you can make.More Grand Marnier varieties
