Tanqueray Aperitivo
Not gin, but a bitter gin-based aperitif with Tanqueray's four botanicals and vibrant pink grapefruit. At 14.7% ABV and made for one thing: a fresh spritz in equal parts, 1:1:1.

A bitter aperitif, not gin
Tanqueray Aperitivo is a premium bitter gin-based aperitif inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle. It is made with vibrant pink grapefruit and Tanqueray's four iconic botanicals: juniper, coriander, angelica and liquorice. It is pink in color, with a fresh, balanced taste.
At 14.7% ABV, it sits alongside Aperol and Campari, not gin. So you don't drink it as a gin and tonic, but as a spritz. The brand keeps it intentionally simple: equal parts Aperitivo, prosecco and sparkling water, the 1:1:1 serve.
In brief
Pink grapefruit with a bitter edge
Pink grapefruit
A fresh, lively aroma of pink grapefruit, underpinned by subtle notes of juniper and coriander.
Fresh and bright
Fruity and balanced, with the soft bitterness of grapefruit peel. Light and bright, not syrupy.
Lightly bitter
A short, dry finish with a bitter grapefruit note that invites the next sip.
Tanqueray Aperitivo's flavor profile served neat. In the 1:1:1 spritz, it becomes lighter, drier and more sparkling.
The 1:1:1 spritz and two other serves
Tanqueray Aperitivo is made for long, light drinks. Plenty of ice matters more than precision.
1:1:1 spritz
Fill a large wine glass with ice and pour in 50 ml Tanqueray Aperitivo, 50 ml prosecco and 50 ml sparkling water. Garnish with a slice of pink grapefruit. This is the brand's serve.
Spritz glasses →Aperitivo & tonic
50 ml Tanqueray Aperitivo with 150 ml tonic in a long drink glass full of ice. Drier and more bitter than the spritz, and just as light.
Long drink glasses →Over ice
5 cl over a large ice cube in a tumbler, with a strip of grapefruit peel. A simple aperitif before the meal.
Tumblers →Aperitif cocktails to experiment with
In recipes that call for Aperol or Campari, you can use Tanqueray Aperitivo instead. The result is lighter and fresher, with grapefruit instead of orange.

Aperol Spritz
The familiar recipe with bubbles and soda. With Aperitivo instead of Aperol, you get the 1:1:1 spritz.
Americano
Bitter, red vermouth and sparkling water over ice. A lighter version with grapefruit.
Negroni Sbagliato
Bitter, red vermouth and prosecco. Softer and fruitier with Aperitivo.
