Stölzle Lausitz Exquisit Wine Glass 65 Cl - 6 Pieces
This is the slim, large bowl from the Exquisit series: 65 centiliters in capacity, 22.2 centimeters high, but with a narrow diameter of just 7.3 centimeters. This combination creates a tall, slender glass in which the wine sits deep in the bowl. Powerful red wines with firm tannins, such as cabernet sauvignon or syrah, come into their own here because the narrow opening directs the aromas upward in a concentrated stream instead of allowing them to spread out broadly.
Not to be confused with the wide 64.5 cl glass
The Exquisit series also includes a 64.5-centiliter bowl. Almost the same capacity, but with a 9.8-centimeter width, it is a completely different glass: wider, rounder, and designed for maximum air contact. If you are looking for that Burgundy style, choose that version. If you want concentration and height, this is the right model. Both are clearly shown side by side in the Stölzle Lausitz Exquisit collection.
Practical information
The glass is made of lead-free crystal glass, with a thin profile and a reinforced rim. Dishwasher-safe and suitable for professional dishwashers, so there is no need to wash it by hand. The set consists of 6 glasses in a luxury box. Other sizes and series can be found among the wine glasses.
