How many glasses are in a Supremo set?
The whole Supremo range comes in sixes, including the flute and the tumbler. That makes the line suitable if you want to set a table in a single style without having to piece sizes together.
Which Supremo bowl do you choose for red wine?
For bordeaux and other tannic reds, the 55 cl bowl is the right size. For pinot noir and burgundy, choose the 65 cl Burgundy, because the wider bowl gives more surface for the aroma to lift off.
Is Supremo made of lead crystal?
No, the range is crystalline glass without lead. It gives the same clarity as classic lead crystal, but the material is harder and therefore stands up better to the dishwasher and to daily use.
Does the 24 cl flute suit champagne?
Yes. Twenty-four centilitres is the usual size for a flute in which you pour around 12 cl. The narrow shape holds the carbonation longer than a wide coupe, so the bubbles keep running to the end of the glass.
