Which Primeur size do you choose for white wine?
The 26 or the 32 cl. The smallest glass keeps a young, fresh wine cold the longest because less wine sits in the glass at a time. The 32 cl gives a little more room for aroma and is more widely usable.
What is the 60 cl bowl meant for?
For burgundy and other pinot noir wines. The rounded shape gives plenty of surface, so volatile aromas gather in the space above the wine. That is why you should never pour it beyond a third full.
What can you pour in the 10 cl liqueur glass?
Grappa, limoncello, a sweet dessert wine or a digestif after dinner. Unlike with wine, you fill this glass almost to the top, because the contents should be ice cold and finished within a few minutes.
Is the Primeur stem attached or pulled?
Pulled. The stem comes out of the bowl in one movement, so there is no seam at the transition. That is exactly the point where glassware with an attached stem most often breaks when dropped or knocked.
