Which Harmonia size suits a bottle of beer?
For a bottle of 30 or 33 cl the 38 cl is the logical choice, because it leaves room for two fingers of head. The 27.5 cl is meant for strong beers that you pour in smaller servings.
Why does the rim curve inwards?
That taper keeps the head in place and gathers the aroma towards your nose instead of around it. With a straight glass the aroma disperses faster, so you taste less of a spiced beer than intended.
Is Bormioli Rocco Harmonia dishwasher safe?
Yes, the glass is tempered and made for daily use. Stand the glasses upright with the foot down, so no water sits on the foot. Do not wash them together with greasy pans, because grease breaks down the head.
How do you get a good head?
Pour first at an angle along the wall until the glass is half full, then bring it upright and pour the rest into the middle from slightly higher. More important still is a grease-free glass, because grease makes any head collapse within half a minute.
